Mel
Fostered in London

Mel is a stunning 3 year old Persian who was rescued from the streets of Cairo, Egypt. He was flown to Canada a year and a half ago to
have a better life here.

Mel is an easy going lad who enjoys hanging out with humans, other cats, dogs, rabbits and even lizards (all of whom he lives with in his present foster home).
He loves to cuddle but is also happy to be independent.

This past summer it was discovered that Mel has a urinary blockage disease called FLUTD that is common in male cats. FLUTD can be very serious and it meant Mel had to have many treatments including surgery to save his life.
He thankfully survived but will always have bladder problems and need to stay on a special diet for the rest of his life.

If you have any experience with FLUTD, Mel would do well in your home.
If you don't know about FLUTD but are willing to learn, Mel is worth falling in love with.
