3 month old male

Fostered in Waterdown, ON

Hey! Hi! Hello! My name is OBI!! And I am a big ball of ENERGY!! Foster mom says I’m named after Obi Wan Kenobi from Star Wars, who’s apparently a pretty cool guy. I’m a pretty cool guy too, if I do say so myself.

I came in with my 3 siblings: Chewie, Rey, and Leia. You’ll see Chewie up for adoption too, and soon our sisters will follow, so keep your eyes open! I am approximately 14 weeks old, and I was told I am a german shepherd mixed with a husky, or a shepsky, or something like that! Whatever all that means, foster mom says it means I’m going to be big, and I’m going to be smart, and I’m going to need lots of stimulation and play and exercise!

I will need a family who is going to take me on lots of walks and take me outside to play a lot. I will need stimulation and training, so please remember that when you’re applying to adopt me! I will be work, but I will be worth it!

I was the second smallest in my litter, and I currently weigh around 19.5 lbs. I am known for letting my siblings know that I am the boss whether they like it or not! Whether that means jumping on them or barking at them, I’ll make sure they get the hint. I have been in a home with multiple dogs ranging from shih tzu sized to malamute sized, multiple cats, and multiple young kids ranging in age from 10 months to 5 years old, and I haven’t had any problems with anybody, so I will probably make a good family dog!

I am a really good boy, but please remember I AM a puppy. I am still learning EVERYTHING, including how not to use the bathroom in the house (but I’m doing really good at this!), using a leash politely, and going for walks. If you adopt me, I’m going to need your patience with me while I learn the tricks of the trade.

I also still have all of my baby teeth so sometimes I chew things and I will need to be provided with lots of toys and treats. If you have young kids in the house I may “mouth” them or you, but I mean no harm! I’m just a baby who needs to be taught all of the basics!

I am eager and ready to learn how to be polite and any new tricks you want to teach me! I like to run around the kitchen and tumble and jump, so I bet I’ll be good at tricks!

My adoption fee is $700. My neuter will be done by the rescue when they feel I am old enough, unless they make other arrangements at the time of adoption. I am up to date on appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and have been dewormed and treated for fleas and ticks.
