6 month old female

Fostered in St Thomas Ontario

Roxanne is a 6 month old Shepherd/Husky/Hound mix. She may be small, but she is mighty. She's house broken, with the odd incident. LOVES to chew, so chews and toys are a must! Also is learning that not everything is a toy, like shoes, or clothing. But is making good progess with learning.

She is very food motivated especailly if it's something she really likes! She can be shy amongst crowds and strangers but usually warms up pretty quickly. She can also be deffensive, as she did growl and bare her teeth at a male dog while on leash outside. Once we got her inside, she settled down and was fine. She is just finally learning life without her sister as they were togther up until 6 months of age.

She does good with kids of all ages though isn't a big fan of being crowded by them. She's okay with the crate, and will go in one on her own if she wants space, otherwise she'd rather be on your lap cuddling forever. She was only in it purposely when I went somewhere due to her chewing tendencies, as she usually slept with me at night. Only other thing is due to the situation she came from, she's a forger and will eat/chew anything she can get her mouth on, and is a work in progress teaching her right from wrong. But she is smart and is learning well.

She also loves her car rides, and sticking her head out the window. For never being on a leash until she was 22 weeks of age, she's a decent walking partner as she doesn't pull, but still needs work on going straight and focusing. She also has a decent recall so far, and we were working on other basics, which again are still a work in progress. Roxy is a sweet, shy, girl, filled with an endless amount of love.

Roxanne is spayed. She is dewormed, UTD on vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $700.
