Tonka is a handsome 1-year-old male with a heart as big as his love for cuddles! If you're looking for a loyal companion who would rather snuggle on the couch than stir up trouble, Tonka may be your perfect match!

This sweet boy gets along well with cats and has a gentle, easygoing personality. While he does have a playful side, he's much more interested in being close to his people and soaking up all the affection he can get!

Tonka is working hard to learn that the world around him is a safe and welcoming place. Leash training is still a work in progress, but he has been making progress and, with continued patience and consistency, we know he'll gain confidence in no time.

Tonka is crate trained and sees his crate as his safe space—a cozy spot where he can relax and feel secure.

You may notice Tonka wearing a belly band, and that's perfectly okay! He's still learning the ropes of house training and understanding that outdoor potty breaks are the way to go. With guidance, routine, and encouragement, he's continuing to make great strides every day.

Tonka is truly a lover, not a fighter.
